Chinese Beta MIUI 12 is now available for Mi 6. The New MIUI 12 brings many great features like New Animations, UI, privacy features, and overall a Dynamic OS. Xiaomi started the rollout of MIUI 12 Chinese Beta right after the announcement. Download links and installation guide are provided below
This is a Chinese Beta ROM, which means it contains no Google Apps, although you can sideload them via Xiaomi Store or Download them via the browser. The ROM is limited to English and Chinese. If you are alright will all of this, then you can install the ROM. The build comes with the version number 2.04.27 and weighs around 2.01 GB. You need TWRP to flash the ROM.
Talking about Mi 6, it was released back in 2017 with Snapdragon 835, the flagship chipset of its time. It was built like a premium smartphone and was overall a good package for its price tag. The display is a 5.15 inches IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It came in three variants: 64GB 4GB RAM, 64GB 6GB RAM, and 128GB 6GB RAM. It houses a Dual-camera setup on the back of two 12 MP lenses with one being a 1.25µm sensor and the other one is a telephoto lens. It is fueled by a 3350 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

How to Flash Chinese Beta ROM on Mi 6
Installation instruction:
- Download the ROM Zip file from Above and Unzip it
- Remove the Compacibility.zip file from the ROM
- TAKE A FULL BACKUP OF YOUR DATA
- Reboot to Custom Recovery / TWRP
- Go in Wipe Section a Format Data, this will remove all Data from your Phone
- Flash the ROM zip file in the Install section
- Reboot
