Xiaomi is now rolling out the new update for Redmi 8A EEA in the European region. The new update bumps the MIUI version from 11.0.2.0 to 11.0.4.0. The update officially comes with the number V11.0.4.0.PCPEUXM and weighs around 1.73 in size.
The update is based on Android Pie and brings the March 2020 security patch along with some new features and bug fixes. Users are receiving the update in a staged process, only a few numbers of devices will get the update to confirm that there are no major bugs in the update. Once confirmed, the Update will roll out to all devices.
You can also download the Recovery version of the new update from the post and flash it manually using given instructions. Also, there is a smaller OTA package available for those who are running the MIUI 11.0.2.0 version of MIUI. You can flash both the Recovery versions and OTA using the Software updater app.
